Doch wer wissen will, was ein gesundes, ausgewogenes Tierfutter auszeichnet, sollte auf Fachleute h\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n<p>Genau das tun wir. In Zusammenarbeit mit Ern\u00e4hrungswissen- schaftlern und Tier\u00e4rzten entwickeln wir Futtersorten, die Ihrem Liebling das geben, was sein K\u00f6rper ben\u00f6tigt.<\/p>\n<p>Klingt selbstverst\u00e4ndlich. Ist es aber nicht. Ein wenig Kohlenhydrate etc. sind ja absolut okay, es ist auch nicht sooooo schlimm dass in einigen Sorten Vollkornreis und Vollkornnudeln enthalten sind. Ich w\u00fcrde dieses Futter in den Bereich Mittelklassefutter ansiedeln. <strong>ABER<\/strong> was absolut gar nicht geht, ich habe in zwei Sorten als \u00d6l <strong>Schwarzk\u00fcmmel\u00f6l<\/strong> entdeckt und sorry, das geht gar nicht.<\/p>\n<p>Katzen haben durch einen Enzymmangel eine Glucuronidierungsschw\u00e4che und k\u00f6nnen Terpene nicht bzw. nur sehr, sehr langsam abbauen. Terpene, die einen Gro\u00dfteil \u00e4therischer \u00d6le ausmachen sorgen f\u00fcr den unverwechselbaren Geruch und Geschmack bei K\u00fcchenkr\u00e4utern und Gew\u00fcrzen sind aber auch in Teebaum\u00f6l, Neem\u00f6l, und Schwarzk\u00fcmmel\u00f6l enthalten. Da es sich hier um reine Naturprodukte handelt, ist der Anteil der Terpene schwankend.<\/p>\n<p>Schwarzk\u00fcmmel\u00f6l, hat unter der Voraussetzung das es kaltgepresst ist nur einen geringen Anteil von Terpenen, da die Katze diese aber nicht abbauen und verwerten kann w\u00fcrden sich diese in der Leber anh\u00e4ufen. Geringe Mengen w\u00e4ren sicher nicht problematisch aber auf die Dauer k\u00f6nnte es hier zu massiven Problemen kommen.<\/p>\n<p>Was mich auch noch an diesem Futter st\u00f6rt ist die Deklaration. Keine Prozentangaben, keine Information \u00fcber die tierischen Nebenprodukte. Einfach finde ich diese Deklaration gelinde gesagt f\u00fcr ein so hochpreisiges Futter \u00e4u\u00dferst unversch\u00e4mt.<\/p>\n<p>Das Futter an sich, hat einen angenehmen Geruch und eine feste Konsistenz. Auch die Akzeptanz bei meinen Katzen (ich habe die zwei Sorten mit Schwarzk\u00fcmmel\u00f6l nicht getestet sondern entsorgt) war sehr gut.
